In the year 2001,our arduous implementation of preciseness and excellence in culinary art and management ,which was instilled with Edo Period's culinary spirit and culture, had successfully lead us to revive ancient culinary mastery and seasoning essence to our present day. us, Malaysia's first true Edo Period Style cuisine outlet, Edo Ichi,was proudly established.
Over the next decade, aer receiving a high degree of consumer recognition and market support, we took a step further to expand the culinary business by increasing the number of restaurants to 22 as of 2021. Among them are Edo Ichi, Azuma Sushi, Azuma, Sushi Zento, Ichi Zen, Hachiban Izakaya, Aburi Sushi and Wa Q Yakiniku located across Peninsular and East Malaysia, all being well known cum sought-aer by countless groups Japanese cuisine goers.

Our team of chefs consists of a big group of culinarians with Master Chefs taking the lead, and being responsible to enlighten the team to express their culinary mastery via a wide variety of Edo Ichi Style Japanese delicacies. Hence, each and every of them has long since mastered the art of adapting and diverging, and is more than capable to show o their creative yet impressive culinary skills that would eventually contribute to our mainstream culinary world. In order to ensure quality excellence, we assigned one experienced Master Chef to each region to supervise the outlets. While on each restaurant, we have several chefs responsible of leading a team of cooks to serve as the omnipotent kitchen elites, bringing our end consumers the perfect Japanese dining experience.
